Wow! It looks like I just might be able to maintain some sort of a decent update schedule for the rest of the year. I have four new galleries tonight. First off, are 46 pics of a M1078 2.5 ton 4x4 Light Medium Tactical Vehicle(LMTV). Next, are 62 pics of a M984A1 HEMTT 10 ton 8x8 Wrecker Truck. The next two galleries are courtesy of my latest photo provider, Jean-Michel Cyr of Canada. Jean-Michel sent me LOTS of pics from Camp Borden, Canada and the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. The first two sets from Jean-Michel feature 47 pics of a 7.62cm Pak 36(r) and 32 pics of a Jagdpanzer IV L/70. You'll be seeing lots more Jean-Michel's photos during the upcoming weeks. This is the first update I've done in more than a month. It's been pretty hectic at home and work. Thanks to Alex van Riezen and several others who confirmed that the T-72 in my last update was a T-72M1. Tonight's update is a small one with four new galleries from two previous contributors. First off, Chris Meddings of Inside the Armour has provided a couple more sets of Churchill pics, including 25 pics of a Churchill Mk II (ersatz Mk I) and 22 pics of a Churchill Mk IV. Thanks Chris! There'll be more pics from Chris in the next couple of weeks. Joe D. provided some more pics of Cold War U.S. armor including 10 pics of a M41 Walker Bulldog and 12 pics of a M48A1 Patton. I'm hoping to get back on track with regular updates to close out the year. On Friday, I received over 28GB worth of photos that I'll be going through and posting during the next several months. Well its sure been awhile since I last added new pictures. Tonight's update features 3 new galleries. 6 new sets of photos have been posted for today's update. First off, I've added 13 pictures to the Cromwell Mk IV gallery. Next, a new 22 photo set of a 1942 Willys MB Type 1 has been added. In the Axis section, the PzKpfw I Ausf. A gallery has had 15 new engine compartment pics added. I've also started a new page with 36 pics of a Borgward B IV. It's Ford Jeep night at Toadman's! Tonight's update feature 6 new galleries containing various Ford built jeeps. First off, are 33 pics of a 1941 Ford GP. Next, is a 20 photo gallery featuring a 1942 Ford Script GPW with Ford Frame. This is followed by 20 pictures of a Ford GPW 7/42-9/43 build. A Ford GPW Holden Ambulance is in a 28 photo gallery while the last two sets consist of 25 pictures of a 1945 Ford GPW "Deep Mudder" and 48 pics of a Ford GPA.

Not much of an update tonight. Things have been very hectic during the past 6-8 weeks so I haven't spent alot of time with tank picture stuff. Several new galleries have been added along with the updating of several current ones. First, I've added a 33 photo gallery for the Crusader Mk II. Next, I've updated the M4A3 Early Production with 27 new pictures. The Littlefield Panther Restoration has been updated with 5 new pics. 5 pics have been added to the Littlefield Sherman Jumbo Restoration. The Churchill Toad gallery has had 10 pictures added to it while the AMX Mk 61 105mm SP Howitzer gallery also has had 10 pics added to it. Tonight's update features several new galleries along with updates to some existing ones. First off, I've updated the Littlefield Panther Restoration with 15 new pictures. IN MEMORIAM
JACQUES LITTLEFIELD 1949-2009

Jacques Littlefield who was the friend to all in the military vehicle collector and armor modeller communites died Wednesday, 7 January 2009 after a long fight with cancer. He was 59 years old. Jacques was dedicated to the collection of and preservation of military vehicles. Through the tireless work of him and his staff, many pieces have military history have been saved. Jacques was always happy to answer questions about his collection. He was always full of enthusiasm and knowledge about his vehicles and pretty much all things mechanical.
On a personal level, Jacques allowed me to photograph nearly his entire collection during the past 5 or so years. He was always very friendly to me during my visits and quite helpful. Jacques was just really a great guy!! When I'd bring my 8 year daughter along, he'd talk to her more than me!! We were both very saddened by his death.
I'm very honored to have had the opportunity to talk to him on many occasions. And I am more than thrilled that he was able to read the book on his A34 Comet that I shot all of the photographs for. The last conversation I had with him in early December 2008 was about the book and how much he liked it. That is something that I won't forget!
I owe Jacques a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid!! Without him allowing me to take all of the pictures I have of his collection, my website, photo CD's and upcoming books would not exist!! Thank you Jacques for everything!! You will be missed by me and so many others. R.I.P.

It's been awhile since my last update as I was on vacation in Kauai for 10 fantastic days in October. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it. And yes, there are tanks there too!! Now, on with the update!
Four new galleries have been added tonight. The first one has 13 pics of a M5A1 Stuart located on Kauai. Next, 12 pics of a LVT4 that is also located on Kauai. Back on the mainland, 79 pics of a 6x6 5-Ton Wrecker M62 and 112 pics of a 1S12 Radar "Long-Track" were taken at Jacques Littlefield's MVTF. I've also updated the FUTURE CD RELEASE and About Me pages.

Today's update features three new galleries. The first gallery features 105 pic of a Beobachtungspanzer. This should help those building the new Revell of Germany kit. The next two galleries feature two of Jacques Littlefield's latest acquisitions including 83 pictures of his Churchill Toad, which is perfect if you have the Accurate Armour kit and 111 pics of his Swedish STRV M42. Here, you'll find some of the aircraft photos that I've taken over the years. Please check it out! UPDATE 29AUG08 Tonight's update consists of 2 new items being added to the REVIEW section. First off is the 1/48 Iron Division M4 Upper Hull w/Direct Vision Slot Conversion for the Tamiya M4. The other item reviewed is the M1 Cupola w/Two Styles of Hatches for the Tamiya M48A3. I'll be adding 6-7 more reviews during the next week. It's been awhile since I've posted an update but I have shot a few pics since May so here they are. First is a 5 picture update on the Littlefield Sherman Jumbo Restoration. Next is a 6 picture update on the Littlefield M3 75mm G.M.C. Restoration. The Littlefield Panther Ausf. A Restoration has 6 new pics added as well. The first one has 34 pictures of a M8 Armored Car. Next is 31 pics of a Chevy 1 1/2ton 4x4 Truck G7107. Finally, I've added 82 pics of a FIAT S.P.A. TM-40. UPDATE 06APRIL08 A decent size photo update tonight. I've updated 4 existing galleries and added 1 new one. First, I've updated the Littlefield Panther restoration gallery with 7 new pictures. Next, I've updated the Littlefield Sherman Jumbo restoration gallery with 7 new pictures. The Chieftain Mk VI gallery has 53 new pics added to it while the Leopard 1A1A2 gallery has 41 new pictures. This gallery also includes some preliminary measurements of the muzzle brake. Apparently, the muzzle brake in the latest kit of this tank is too small. Hopefully these pictures will help you decide. Damn! It's been awhile since my last photo update. Too much stuff has been going on at home and at work. The past 2 weeks has seen my house suffer $2000 damage in the kitchen due to a plumbing leak. What a pain in the arse!! Anyway, I've managed to add three new galleries tonight plus update one of the favorites. First off, I've added 10 new pictures to the Littlefield Panther Ausf. A restoration gallery. Next, I've posted a 37 picture gallery of a Krupp Protze.
In the NATO section, I've added two new galleries. The first one contains 8 pictures of a couple of beat up M551 Sheridans. The other gallery has 52 pictures of a Saracen APC.
I've also added an Archives page so you can check back to view previous updates. Finally, I've fixed some broken/missing links within the site that I have found.

Thankfully, the situation listed below has been taken care of. "Uk-bears" has voluntarily removed the offending auctions and has agreed to compensate me for my troubles! I received many favorable emails and responses to my forum postings regarding this unfortunate problem. I'd like to thank all of you for your support in this matter! Hopefully, I won't run into this again and I can concentrate on posting new pictures and completing more photo CD's. I'll try and post a new photo update next week. And yes, I'm still working on the M7 HMC series CD.

His bootlegs include the T-34, A34 Comet, Sherman, German Anti-Tank Guns, and StuG III Ausf. G CD's. Please do not purchase any of the above CD's from him. Other than my website and my eBay sales i.d., "tankpictures", the only authorized online dealer of my CD's is Wings n Treads webstore and I don't think he even has any left. I have contacted eBay about this matter. Hopefully they will be able to resolve it quickly. I'll post some new pics in 5-7 days.
